I have to write a biography on my brother for school.
it has to be about one A4 page.
but I’m struggling on things to put in this biography, as my brother is only 16 and has not done all that much in his life.
does anyone have any suggestions on what i can put in this biography?

What is the fastest way to learn scales on the guitar? Is there anyplace with an explanation for scales?

I just started learning guitar on a more than casual basis.
I just started learning guitar on a more than casual basis. I can play by ear but I realize that I am cheating myself out of an education. I need an explanation for the why do scales work and how they fit together.
I understand learning scales are fundamental to everything else but what I don’t understand is why? Why do they work together. Math behind it? Etc. I could quite possibly mind numbingly memorize them but that wouldn’t mean that I had a full understanding of it.
I actually play keyboard by ear also and I have memorized the layout already. I have tried books and they all start out with crappy excercises involving ode to joy and auld lang syne.

MY band at my High School is good as far as UIL but at football games they dont get he crowed pumped at all and the football team loses costantly maybe its the band. Everyone wants the band to play music that everyone knows. PLEASE HELP!
Yes they play by ear.. but the effin band director wont even attempt. So i thought id just get the music myself and get the instrumental and let him hear it and see what he says to me.

I think it may have somthing to do with the sortaing tab but everytime i put songs on some will go under the name and others you have to find under song how do you fix it so they all go under the artist names?

Let us suppose that the human soul actually exists; there are a selected few who might consider otherwise, myself still being open on the subject. Now, consider this: If you were to replace any other body part on yourself, you’d still be YOU, in a manner of speaking. Arms, fingers, genitals, etc. However, the moment your brain is messed with you seemingly cease to be who you were, or are. The human brain is the complete essence of who you are. It contains your emotions, how you percieve the world around you…It knows how things smell and taste, how they feel, basically it pretty much defines your reality to you. Could it be possible to suggest that the “soul” is really your mind? And that, when a person dies, their mind fleets, leaving the body to rot? If this is the case couldn’t we then be our own final judges? And the Heaven and Hell that is so openly tossed about is really just our memories? If you’ve led a good life with no guilt then good memories are what you’ll have? Anyone?
